Please plan a 20 min talk (time is essential this year as we will have two speakers on research days – practice to make sure your talk is 20 min); try to explain your research problem, model(s), and data to an audience that does not necessarily know the details or implications of your work. Projector is available if needed (503 Fordham my lab), and if you need a computer bring a flash drive and let me (bautch@med.unc.edu or Shawn Ahmed (shawn@med.unc.edu) know.

*critiquers will stay after for a few minutes to CONSTRUCTIVELY evaluate the presentations, along with the faculty (usually Vicki and Shawn) who attend.

This Club is a REQUIREMENT for participation (and funding) in the DB Training Program (attendance is taken). This year we set up some open forums to allow you to determine what you would like to do in addition to presentation of research. I hope you will bring enthusiasm and energy to this Club, and ideas for what you would like to accomplish/learn! Vicki
